In July 2024, the Department of Defense released the 2024 DoD Arctic Strategy, the fourth iteration for the Department, which outlines the United States’ commitment to preserving the Arctic as a secure and stable region with Allies and partners.

U.S. Army Garrison Italy, working together with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and the U.S. Air Force, recently completed the warehouse.

Participants explored the commercial and environmental challenges, geopolitical influences and strategic issues affecting the region. These sessions aimed to deepen understanding of the impacts on the U.S., its Allies and partners operating in the Arctic.
